Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Ficodi account and the personal data associated with it. You can request deletion at any time, free of charge.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — In the app

Open Ficodi and go to your Profile → Settings → Delete Account, then confirm. If you don’t see this option in your app version, please use Option 2 below.

Option 2 — By email

Send an email to support@ficodi.com with the subject “Delete my Ficodi account” and include:

• Your Ficodi display name / username, and
• If you signed in with Google, the email address linked to your account.

We may contact you to verify that you own the account before we process the request.

What gets deleted

When your deletion request is completed, we remove or irreversibly anonymise the personal data tied to your account, including:

• Your display name / username and account record;
• Linked Google sign-in identifier (if any);
• Your profile photo, cover photo and any room display pictures you uploaded;
• Your direct-message media (photos and voice notes) and message history;
• Your levels, points, leaderboard standing and diamond balance;
• Room(s) you own and their settings.

What may be retained, and for how long

We may keep a limited amount of information after deletion only where necessary to:

• comply with legal, tax or accounting obligations (for example, records of purchases of virtual items);
• prevent fraud and abuse, and resolve disputes; and
• complete the removal of data from routine encrypted backups.

Such retained data is kept only as long as required and is then deleted or anonymised. Backups are purged on a rolling cycle, typically within 90 days.

How long it takes

We process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Deleting your account is permanent — your data, virtual items and diamond balance cannot be recovered afterwards.
