1. Introduction

Ficodi is a product of NAZBAY LLC (“NAZBAY LLC”, “Ficodi”, “we”, “us” or “our”), which operates the Ficodi mobile applications (Android) and the website at ficodi.com (together, the “Service”). The Service is a live, multi-room audio, video and text chat platform with virtual gifts, levels and in-room games.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Ficodi, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information we collect

Account & identity

  • Display name / username. Ficodi uses the name you type as your identity. You do not need a password to join rooms.
  • Google Sign-In (optional). If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive a Google account identifier and basic profile information (such as your name and email address) to create and secure your account. We do not receive your Google password.

Profile & uploaded content

  • Images you upload — profile photo, cover photo, and room display pictures. Uploaded images are resized and stored on our object-storage provider and served publicly within the app.
  • Direct message media — photos and voice notes you send in private one-to-one messages.

Activity & social data

  • Rooms you create or join, your seat and role (host, moderator, member), and your country/region selection for the room lobby.
  • Virtual gifts you send and receive, your diamond balance and related transactions, and your sending/receiving levels, points and leaderboard standing.
  • In-room game participation and outcomes (games use virtual diamonds and are for entertainment only).

Technical & device data

  • IP address and connection data, which are required to establish and relay real-time audio/video and to operate and secure the Service.
  • Basic device and app information and server logs used for reliability, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
  • Locally stored data on your device (such as your name and a session token) so you stay signed in.
  • Cookies & similar technologies. Our website uses essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. Any analytics or third-party modules we use are governed by their own policies. You can control cookies in your browser, though disabling them may limit some features.

3. What we do not store

Live room text chat is ephemeral. Messages in a live room are broadcast to people in that room in real time and are never saved to our database. Live presence, roles and mutes exist only in memory while a room is active and disappear when the room ends.

Live audio and video are not recorded. Your microphone and camera streams are relayed to other participants through our media server in real time; we do not record or store them.

4. How we use information

  • To provide the core Service — create your account, show the room lobby, connect you to live audio/video and chat, and display profiles, gifts and levels.
  • To operate the virtual gift and diamond economy, leaderboards and in-room games.
  • To enable moderation and safety — allowing hosts and moderators to kick, mute microphones and mute text, and allowing us to enforce our Terms.
  • To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, debug problems and keep the Service reliable.
  • To respond to your support requests and legal obligations.

5. Live audio, video & real-time communication

Ficodi relays live media through our own media server (an SFU). Your audio and video are forwarded to other participants in the room; for some networks, media is relayed through our TURN server. Because media is routed through our servers, other users do not receive your IP address directly. Only a seated, non-muted member may transmit audio or video; everyone else listens and watches.

6. How we share information

  • With other users. Your display name, profile and cover photos, level, role and the gifts you send/receive are visible to other people using the Service. Anything you say on a live stage or in a room is shared with others present.
  • With service providers. We use trusted infrastructure providers for server hosting and object storage, and Google for optional sign-in. These providers process data only to provide their services to us.
  • For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or Ficodi.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data retention

We keep account and profile information for as long as your account is active. Ephemeral chat and live media are never stored. When you delete your account (see Account & Data Deletion), we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or prevent abuse.

8. Your rights & choices

  • Access & update. You can view and change your profile details and photos in the app.
  • Deletion. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see Account & Data Deletion.
  • Permissions. You control microphone and camera access through your device settings; the app only uses them when you choose to go live.

9. Children & safety

Ficodi is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact support@ficodi.com and we will remove it.

Our moderation team monitors the Service 24/7 to help keep the platform safe, and we operate a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material, grooming, exploitation or any content that endangers minors. You can report harmful or inappropriate content or users at any time from within the app or at support@ficodi.com — reports are reviewed and we act on them, including content removal and account bans.

10. Security

We protect data in transit using industry-standard encryption (TLS) and apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and continuously improve our safeguards.

11. International data transfers

Our servers and storage are located in the European Union. If you access Ficodi from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in countries with different data-protection laws than your own.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
