Getting started
How do I start using Ficodi?
Download Ficodi from Google Play, open the app and pick a display name (or sign in with Google). You'll land in the lobby, where you can browse live rooms — the busiest are shown at the top with live member counts.
Do I need an account or password?
The name you type is your identity, so you can jump straight in. Signing in with Google is optional and helps keep your account and profile secure across devices.
Rooms & the stage
How do I join or create a room?
Tap any room in the lobby to join. Every user can own one room of their own — open it from your profile or the room tools. As the creator you're the room's super admin and can promote moderators to help you run it.
How do I take a seat and talk?
Each room has 8 stage seats. Tap a free seat to sit down, then turn on your microphone to speak — only seated members can be heard; everyone else listens. Hosts and moderators can lock seats, and mute or remove participants to keep the room friendly.
Can I just chat with text?
Yes. Live text chat runs alongside the audio in every room — react and talk without taking a seat. Room chat is live only and is not stored after it scrolls by.
Audio & video
My microphone or camera isn't working.
Make sure you've granted Ficodi microphone and camera permission in your device Settings, that you're seated on a stage seat, and that a host or moderator hasn't muted you. Closing and reopening the room, or toggling the mic/camera button off and on, fixes most issues.
The audio is choppy or won't connect.
Live audio and video need a stable internet connection. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or move to an area with better signal. On very restrictive networks our relay servers help the connection get through — give it a few seconds to settle.
Is my audio or video recorded?
No. Your microphone and camera streams are relayed to other people in the room in real time and are never recorded or stored by us.
Account & profile
How do I change my profile photo or name?
Open your profile in the app to update your display name, profile photo and cover photo. Uploaded images are resized automatically.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account anytime from Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing support@ficodi.com. See our Account & Data Deletion page for exactly what is removed and how long it takes.
Gifts, levels & games
What are diamonds and gifts?
Gifts are fun animated effects you can send to people on stage. Diamonds and other in-app items are virtual, are for entertainment only, and have no real-world cash value. As you send and receive gifts you climb sending and receiving levels and the leaderboards.
What are the in-room games?
Ficodi includes light mini-games you can play together without leaving the room. They're purely for entertainment and use virtual items only — there is no real-money gaming, gambling or betting.
Reporting & safety
How do I report someone or something?
Use the report option on the room, user or content from within the app, or email us at support@ficodi.com with details. Our moderation team reviews reports 24/7 and acts on them, including removing content and banning accounts.
How do I block or mute people in my room?
If you host or moderate a room, you can kick a participant, mute their microphone, or mute their text from the member options. Ficodi is an adults-only (18+) platform with a zero-tolerance policy toward any content that endangers minors — see our Child Safety Standards.
